The Code
Origin
Pickleball Mafia started because the culture around the sport felt too soft for the people who treat the court like a second home. Belonging shouldn't be a purchase. It should be earned.
We built two layers on purpose. Anyone can wear the shirt and ride with the brand. The patch is different. Chapters are vetted crews — local families who hold a standard and keep each other honest.
This isn't a club you buy into. It's a name you carry only if the people already carrying it say you can.
Standards

Earn it
The patch is granted, never sold. Application, vetting, approval — in that order.

Represent clean
You wear the name like it means something. On court and off. No exceptions.

Protect the standard
Chapters police themselves. Soft standards don't survive. Neither do members who ignore them.

No buy-ins
Member gear is for members. Outsiders don't get patches, kits, or chapter marks — full stop.

Leave it better
Your chapter raises the local game. If it doesn't, you shouldn't have the name.
What the patch means
The patch says you're not a customer — you're family. It means a crew vetted you, you hold the standard, and you don't get to quit on the name when it's inconvenient.
What gets it taken away
Disrespect the name, sell access, break the standard, or put the family at risk — and the patch comes off. No drama. No debate. The chapter decides.
